Description

  • Handling of the 9370 flange spreader is simple: Once two counter-positioned connection bolts have been removed from the flange, the flange spreaders can be driven into the newly vacant holes
  • All remaining connection bolts are subsequently removed or loosened and the flange connection is opened using the pressure bolt in the flange spreader.
  • A rigid spacer should be inserted between the flange sheets for additional safety. The gasket can now be replaced. The system allows the flanges to be spread open enough to allow inspection. Any damage of the flange contact surface is prevented. Not only gaskets, but also measuring targets, blind gaskets, and other items be replaced easily.

Areas of Application for Din Flanges

  • Flange spreaders can also be used with other flange types. We recommend using two flange spreaders concurrently, as a flange connection should always be spread parallel.
